Prophetess Marcia Morrison has been serving the Lord for over 30 years and preaches the unadulterated gospel by the power of the Spirit for the perfecting of the saints, the work of the ministry, the edifying of the Body of Christ. Prophetess Morrison is the president and founder of Morrison Ministries, a multi-faceted ministry wherein she functions in Christendom as a conference speaker, author, Bible instructor, revivalist, psalmist, consultant, etc. She develops books, training materials, and other media to assist in providing sound teaching and guidance for the 21st century church and is the author of the newly released book entitled "Leprosy In The Church", a message that is sweeping the country.

Prophetess Morrison preached at Dr. Bynum-Weeks' Weapons of Power 2003 conference in St. Louis, MO. She has appeared on the Word Network, Daystar Television Network and has appeared on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) as a guest of Dr. Bynum-Weeks whom the Lord used to call Prophetess Morrison into the prophetic office in the presence of a global audience of 80 million viewers and imparted the prophetic mantle upon her life. She is the host and instructor of Discipleship 2005 Classes – a Traveling School of the Spirit - which journeys the country to develop end-time soldiers of discipline, righteousness and power for the repairing of the House of God.

Prophetess Morrison has ministered internationally, proclaiming an uncompromising Word for the refreshing of the saints. She has served in multiple facets of kingdom building which include establishing and serving as principle instructor of a Bible institute, serving on ministers’ and elders’ boards; developing and instructing new members’ class curriculums; establishing and/or heading women’s, prison, hospital, and intercessory prayer ministries; serving on strategic planning boards; ministering at orphanages, senior citizens homes, and street revivals; and serving as Bible study and Sunday school instructor.

Not only did the Lord call Prophetess Morrison to the preaching ministry, but she also bears the gift of music and has ministered as a psalmist. Among her many activities, she has previously served as a praise and worship leader and has participated in music ministry both nationally and internationally. Formerly, she has also functioned as a songwriter and studio vocalist and has participated in various recording projects.

Considered an old fashioned preacher, Prophetess Morrison strongly believes that preaching is not just behind the pulpit, but is developed through and must be demonstrated in the power of a life of true sanctification and holiness saturated with the righteousness of God in Christ. A woman of much prayer and consecration, she has a compassionate love for the people of God and earnestly desires to see the resurrection power of God manifested in their lives. To this end, she endeavors to bring fresh illumination to the deeper truths of the gospel, making the person of our Lord Jesus authentic and exposing Him in a way that encourages a closer walk and a greater love for our living Lord. She has a strong propensity for teaching that crystallizes the Word of God for practical, present-day application and speaks at conferences, revivals, crusades, workshops, seminars, and other fellowships.

Prophetess Morrison walks under the spiritual covering and guidance of her father Suffragan Bishop Lawrence E. Brown, Sr. of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW), 12th Episcopal (Midwestern) District in St. Louis, MO. Her spiritual upbringing in Christendom was under the pastorate of Bishop Emeritus James A. Johnson whom her father served as senior assistant pastor for 19 years prior to being called to the pastorate himself. As Morrison Ministries is based in New Jersey, Bishop George & Lady Mary Searight and the Abundant Life Family Worship Church serve as the resident covering for Prophetess Morrison's family and evangelistic ministry and is where they worship and fellowship.

After earning her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, she accepted a position as a Research Chemical Engineer with Merck & Co., Inc. in Rahway, NJ in 1992 where she performed research to invent new medicines including an AIDS therapy currently prescribed to former basketball star Magic Johnson. Prophetess Morrison later earned her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the number one graduate business school in the world - The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

While in graduate school, Prophetess Morrison awarded The Wharton School's two highest academic and leadership honors scholarships with distinction – the Howard E. Mitchell Fellowship and the Shils/Zeidman Entrepreneurial Scholarship. Specifically, she was honored as a two-time recipient of the Shils/Zeidman scholarship which was the first time in history for any graduate student. Prior to the Lord launching her into full time ministry, Prophetess Morrison was most recently employed with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Pharmaceutical Consultant, developing competitive business strategies for CEOs, presidents, and vice presidents of top pharmaceutical companies such as Merck, Bristol Myers, Johnson & Johnson, etc. She was honored with the opportunity and invitation to co-author an article in a prestigious pharmaceutical industry magazine entitled “American Pharmaceutical Outsourcing” and was asked to be a regular contributor to the industry publication.

Prophetess Morrison was honored by God for four years to have been married to and have shared a family and ministry with the late Seth Morrison, an anointed minstrel and organist who was highly dedicated to the work of the music ministry. The Lord called him to lay down his armor and rest from his labor on December 9, 2002. In honor and memory of her husband, she has founded the Minstrel Seth Morrison Scholarship Foundation to provide financial awards to assist and encourage musicians around the world. Prophetess Morrison resides in North Brunswick, NJ and is the blessed mother of two beautiful daughters, Chauncey (17) and Mikailah Star (3), whom she nurtures and instructs in the admonition of the Lord.
